AMG front apron

Just looking at the front section reveals that the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ is ready to attack. The louvres in the radiator grille are vertical, and immediately identify the GLE as an AMG. Thanks to the newly designed AMG front apron, it is more dynamic, progressive and athletic than before. An impression truly confirmed when you press the accelerator.

AMG exhaust system

The striking rear end also impresses with its dynamism and sporty look. And no wonder, as it is often the only feature of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ you get to see. Two twin exhaust tailpipes in high-gloss chrome provide additional highlights.

22" AMG alloy wheels – cross-spoke light-alloy wheels

Sporty seating comfort is ensured by the AMG sport seats with high-quality upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather / DINAMICA microfibre. Badges with AMG lettering show at first glance that this is where driving pleasure has its home.

Widescreen Cockpit

The GLE is ahead of many others – and also its time. One of its innovations: AMG TRACK PACE. An application with which new lap times can be achieved on the racetrack. Also well ahead of the field: the instrument clusters in an AMG-specific design. They not only look more dynamic – thanks to high-resolution multimedia displays and intuitive user interfaces, they set completely new standards.

AMG steering wheel

Dynamism becomes tangible with the AMG Performance steering wheel: high-grade nappa leather ensures a firm grip, while aluminium shift paddles provide a real motorsport feeling. All important vehicle menu items can be accessed using the multifunction buttons.

Power front seats with memory

Power front seats feature intuitive, seat-shaped controls on the door, plus a 4-way power lumbar support. To set and save your ideal driving position, a memory system for each front seat recalls three stored positions for the seat, plus the positions of the 4-way power steering column and side mirrors for the driver.

KEYLESS-GO

A leap in ease and efficiency pioneered by Mercedes-Benz, KEYLESS-GO® lets you unlock, start and drive away without removing the SmartKey from your pocket or purse. You can lock and unlock the doors with a touch of the exterior handles, and start the engine by stepping on the brake pedal and pushing the Start/Stop button on the dashboard.

4-zone climate control

Four individual temperature controls offer personalized comfort to the front and rear cabins. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes sun and humidity sensors, a dust/pollen filter, and an activated charcoal filter that automatically recirculates cabin air upon detecting a significant increase in smog.

Panorama roof

Offering sweeping skyward views to 1st- and 2nd-row passengers, this fully functional glass sunroof features a panel that can either tilt up for ventilation or slide back for an open-air feeling. A power interior shade allows occupants to adjust the amount of sunlight entering the cabin. A 50% larger viewing area lets passengers enjoy a greater view of the sun and stars.

40/20/40-split folding 2nd-row seats

The rear seatbacks fold down in a 40/20/40 split, offering a variety of cargo and passenger configurations. You can also fold the center section independently, to fit longer items like skis between two rear passengers.

Retractable luggage cover

A retractable cover helps shield your cargo or shopping bags from sunlight and prying eyes. The cover is retractable with one hand, or can be removed entirely and stowed under the cargo floor, for maximum cargo space with the seats folded.

Burmester Surround Sound System

One of the most respected makers of handcrafted high-end home audio, Germany's Burmester® has developed a surround-sound system specifically for the GLE. Thirteen high-quality speakers including twin FrontBass® subwoofers and a 590-watt 9-channel digital amplifier can fill the cabin with pure digital surround sound while seamlessly compensating for ambient noise. Exquisitely detailed metal speaker grilles are as rewarding to the eyes as the system's output is to the most discerning ears.

Head-Up Display

The Head-Up Display projects a 9.5-inch virtual image that "floats" over the car's hood, placing useful information in the driver's natural field of vision, with minimal "eyes off the road." The high-resolution color display can show the next navigation instruction, driving speed and more, as well an AMG-exclusive screen with a bar-graph tachometer, upshift indicator and lap timer. Its height adjustment is stored in the seat memory, while the display adapts automatically to ambient light.
