The New Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4MATIC+

AMG Aerodynamics Package

More aggressive aero details include a more pronounced front splitter. At the rear, a larger rear spoiler, lateral airflow breakaway edges in the rear apron.

19" AMG forged alloy wheels

Iconic in their design, the 19" AMG alloy wheels (4) – 5-twin-spoke design, painted tantalite grey with a high-sheen finish 225/35 tyres. High-performance tyres are fitted.

High-style, high-tech cabin

Fine materials, forward-thinking technology and fresh style unite in a cabin that's at once spacious and enveloping. Digital instruments and displays, touchpads on the steering wheel and console, and an industry advancing voice interface enhance ease of use. Aircraft-inspired round vents and racing-inspired seats with four integrated head restraints emphasize its sporty mission.

AMG Performance steering wheel

The steering wheel features a racing-inspired flat-bottom design, thick padding and a leather-wrapped rim with perforated side grips, putting the delights of precise handling literally in the driver's hands. Raised thumbrests are placed at the ideal "10 and 2 o'clock" positions, near the shift paddles.

10.25-inch touchscreen multimedia display

A widescreen color display with multitouch interface makes it easy to access a world of features, including audio, phone and vehicle settings. In addition to the three input methods of the standard screen (touchscreen, console touchpad, and Touch Control steering wheel), it also responds to the advanced voice control you activate by saying "Hey, Mercedes."

Dual-zone automatic climate control

Separate left and right temperature controls allow the driver and front passenger to enjoy personalized comfort. In addition to fully automatic or manual control of blower speed and airflow distribution, the system includes a dust and pollen filter that helps keep particles as small as 5 microns from entering the cabin. Five adjustable vents in the dash and a pair of rear-cabin air vents help maintain passenger enjoyment throughout the cabin.

Touchpad controller

A large touchpad controller on the console lets you operate the in-dash central touchscreen while your hand rests comfortably at your side. The touchpad works a lot like your smartphone, including multitouch gestures like swiping through menus and pinching to zoom. The touchpad surface includes dedicated Back, Skip and Home virtual keys, and even recognizes handwriting. Adjacent one-touch hard keys access several frequently used functions.

AMG Performance front seats

Directly inspired by racing, the deeply contoured AMG Performance seats feature integrated head restraints and AMG badges. In addition to the customary power adjustments, the seats include power adjustment of the substantial side bolsters in the cushion and backrest, for optimal lateral support.

Handcrafted AMG 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine

The most powerful 4-cylinder engine in production, the new 421-hp handcrafted AMG engine also boasts the highest hp/liter in the industry, due in part to an triple-cooled (water, oil and air) twin-scroll turbo. Along with new two-stage Direct/Port Injection, a high-strength chilled-cast alloy block, and numerous advances to reduce friction, its peak torque rises to 500 Nm, for a 0-100km/h rush of just 4.0 seconds.

AMG Sport Exhaust System

The AMG Sport Exhaust System enhances performance while generating an unforgettable sound from the four polished-chrome tailpipes. An electronically controlled internal butterfly valve responds to engine rpm and throttle loads, to serenade acceleration and higher revs with a rewardingly throaty growl, yet offer a pleasingly mellow tone during relaxed, quiet cruising.

AMG High-performance Braking System

Track-ready yet comfortable and confident in everyday driving, the AMG CLA 45 S Performance brakes feature perforated and ventilated front rotors and red-painted fixed calipers with AMG lettering. Unlike conventional cross-drilling, the discs are cast with the holes in place, enhancing strength and better resisting the stresses of high heat.

AMG Track Pace

AMG Track Pace lets you store performance data from your vehicle in the COMAND® system during track driving, such as speed, acceleration, and lap and sector times.

Panorama roof

Offering sweeping skyward views to both front- and rear-seat passengers, this giant, fully functional glass sunroof features a large panel that can tilt up for ventilation or slide back for an open-air feeling. A power interior shade lets occupants vary the amount of sunlight entering the cabin, and you can even open and close it using the car's advanced voice control system.

Power front seats with 3-position memory

Intuitive, seat-shaped controls help you find your ideal driving position with 8-way power adjustment, including 4-way power lumbar support. A memory system for each front seat recalls three stored seat positions with the touch of a button. The driver-seat memory also includes the power side mirror positions. Both front seats also feature adjustable cushion length, for optimal thigh support and added comfort.

64-color LED ambient lighting with illuminated vents

A network of LEDs let you create cabin ambience to suit your mood. Edge-lighting outlines the dash/door trim and console, while casting a glow in the dash vents, footwells, door handles and door pockets. Along with 64 selectable colors, three cabin zones and adjustable brightness, numerous programs let you enjoy two colors at once, and either static or slowly changing hues. A "light show" greets your arrival, while the dash vent lighting briefly acknowledges your climate-control adjustments.

KEYLESS-GO

A leap in ease and efficiency pioneered by Mercedes-Benz, KEYLESS-GO® lets you unlock, start and drive away without removing the SmartKey from your pocket or purse. You can lock and unlock the doors with a touch of the exterior handles, and start the engine by stepping on the brake pedal and pushing the KEYLESS-START button on the dash.

Burmester Surround Sound System

One of the most respected makers of handcrafted high-end home audio, Germany's Burmester® has developed a surround-sound system that's specifically tailored to the CLA. With 12 high-quality speakers and a 590-watt 9-channel digital amplifier, the system fills the cabin with pure digital surround sound while seamlessly compensating for ambient noise. Exquisitely detailed aluminum speaker grilles are as rewarding to the eyes as the system's output is to the most discerning ears.
